ABOUT US

RP Auto Upholstery was established in 2007 in Melbourne's North and has grown to a dedicated team of specialised motor trimmers and machinists, all willing to ensure your job is completed within an agreed time frame and to the highest quality.

RP Auto Upholstery has over 40 years experience in all aspects of the motor trimming industry, ranging from working on cars, to working on London Underground tube seats and are now specifically focused on the bus and coach industry. Roger Price brings a wealth of knowledge from all aspects of the motor industry to lead RP Auto Upholstery.

At RP Auto Upholstery we have an office and large workshop in Reservoir, Vic with facilities to cater for high volume capacity jobs as well as single one-off's - no job is too big or too small. Although servicing mostly Victorian clients, we also cater to interstate clients.

Regular Repair

At RP Auto Upholstery our aim is to provide our clients with a high quality service that is reliable and competitively priced. We understand the cost of keeping a bus or coach off the road and ensure that all our jobs are completed in a reasonable timeframe for our customers.

We offer a regular repair service which can include a same-day turnaround for urgent repairs.

Our staff are factory trained in Driver Seat refurbishments including suspension rebuilds. We use only genuine spare parts for all repairs.

Maintenance Solutions

RP Auto Upholstery have a fortnightly Stock on Hand (SOH) service which allows bus operators to reduce their SOH costs, allocate real time cost and accountability, removes obsolete stock and better utilisation of storage space.

The Maintenance Solutions service includes:

Bus Seating Audit - RP Auto conducts a complete fleet audit to identify the seating manufacturers, seating configurations and seating fabric variants.
RP Auto recommends spare part stock quantities based on audit data
Stock items are packaged and labelled with Barcode, Part Number and Part Description
RP Auto removes obsolete stock and installs agreed SOH
RP Auto provides fortnightly service for stock replenishment
RP Auto sends fortnightly SOH Report to customer

Coach Refurbishment

We offer coach refurbishments, including seating and curtaining.

With a comprehensive collection of seat patterns for seat designs from all major seat manufacturers, we are able to offer a cut and sew service that can be delivered to the customer for installation.

RP Auto Upholstery has access to all fabric, vinyl and leather suppliers within Australia and has samples of most available for making your selection.
